How To Buy A Gun Online

If you are new to purchasing firearms online, follow this simple guide for instructions on how to purchase a firearm from an online retailer. As always, check your local laws to make certain you are in compliance with your local firearm laws. It is on YOU as the buyer to be in accordance with the laws where you live.

If you live in California, there is a gun "list" of California approved firearms. You must make certain the model matches exactly what is on that list down to the color of the firearm or it is not allowed.

If you have any questions about if we can ship a gun to you, please email us at gungearwarehousellc@gmail.com and we will respond promptly.

All firearms must be shipped to a local dealer (FFL) in your state of residency. You will then complete a background check at your local dealer when you inspect and pick up your firearm. We will not ship unauthorized items to your door.

In most states, you must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a handgun and at least 18 years old to purchase a shotgun or rifle.

Read below on how to purchase a firearm:

1. When buying from an online retailer, complete the checkout process just like you would for any other online purchase. Most dealers accept cash, check, charge, or paypal.

2. If the retailer you are buying from has a drop-down menu at checkout for you to choose a dealer that you would like to ship the firearm to, select one from the list. If they do not, you must choose a local licensed dealer (FFL) to have your firearm shipped to. Either call them, send an email, or visit their storefront to make sure they accept transfers. Have them email a copy of their FFL to the retailer you are buying the firearm from. (Be aware, most licensed dealers charge a small fee of $10-$50 to accept transfers). Be sure to have the receiving FFL include: Your name, item being purchased, and order number.

3. Confirm with the company where you are purchasing that they have received a copy from your local FFL.

3. Sit back and wait! Your item will be shipped to your local FFL and they should call you when it arrives. You will then pick up your item from your local dealer after they have you complete a background check.

Remember to ALWAYS follow the 4 basic rules of firearm safety at a minimum. Safety and training are highly recommended especially for new firearm owners.
