Unopened gear can come back within 60 days of delivery. Firearms can't come back once they transfer to you, so inspect yours at the dealer's counter before you sign. If we send the wrong item or it arrives defective, we make it right. Damage from shipping is a claim with the carrier. Most of what we sell ships straight from the distributor's warehouse, so a package sent back without authorization can end up at the wrong building. Email us before you send anything. Return shipping is on you unless we sent the wrong item or it arrived defective. In those cases we cover it. Once the item arrives and we have checked it, the refund goes back to the card you paid with. Your bank decides how long it takes to show up, usually a few business days. The original shipping charge is refunded only when the return is our mistake. An item that comes back used, incomplete or without its packaging may be refused and sent back to you. Email us with your order number as soon as you know. If the package has not left yet we can usually stop it and refund you in full. Once it ships it has to come back as a return. Once a firearm, receiver, frame or NFA item has transferred to you, it cannot come back to us. Inspect it at the dealer's counter before you fill out the paperwork, and if anything is wrong, tell the dealer before the transfer is finished. That rule is standard across the industry. A transferred firearm is a used firearm, and no retailer can resell it as new. If the firearm is the wrong model or has a defect you find before transfer, have the dealer hold it and email us the same day with photos. We arrange for the dealer to send it back and handle the replacement or refund from there. If it arrives damaged from shipping, the dealer should note it and contact the carrier. A defect found after transfer is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and most makers repair or replace faster than a return could. Email us and we will help you open the claim. You are responsible for knowing whether you can legally buy and own an item where you live, and how to buy a gun online walks through it. If a background check is denied or a state or local law blocks the transfer, email us. The firearm comes back to us through the dealer, and your refund is the purchase price less the cost of shipping it both ways and any fee the dealer charges. Email gungearwarehousellc@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery with: We will send a replacement or a full refund, your choice when stock allows, and we pay the return shipping. If your package arrives damaged, contact the carrier directly to file a damage claim. Once a package is in the carrier's hands, damage in transit is between you and the carrier, and we are not able to replace or refund it. Photograph the box, the shipping label and the item, and keep all of the packaging until the claim is closed, because the carrier will ask for it. Counter purchases follow the same rules. Bring the item and your receipt to the shop at 1404 S Broadway, Ste A, Oak Grove, and we will take care of it there. This policy is part of our Terms of Use. Delivery times and rates are in the Shipping Policy, and transfer details are on FFL info. Email gungearwarehousellc@gmail.com or call the counter at 816.446.4830. Include your order number and we can usually sort it out in one reply. Effective October 11, 2026.The short version
