Exploding Target FAQ
Do I need a rifle to set one off?
Most binary targets need a centerfire rifle hit to react. The rating is printed on each product, and rimfire or handgun rounds generally will not set them off.
Can I use them on public land?
Often not. Many public lands restrict or ban exploding targets, especially during fire season. Check with the managing agency before you go.
