Gun Oil and CLP FAQ
Is CLP enough on its own?
For routine cleaning, usually. Heavy copper fouling in a rifle barrel or baked-on carbon needs a dedicated solvent or carbon remover.
Oil or grease?
Oil runs into tight spaces and suits most moving parts. Grease stays where you put it, which makes it the better fit for slide rails and parts that see heavy friction.
