Cleaning Patch FAQ
Cotton or flannel?
Both work. Cotton flannel has a soft, napped surface that grabs fouling. Plain woven cotton is thinner and usually cheaper by the bag.
How do I know the patch fits?
On a jag, a patch should take firm pressure to push but not jam. If the rod bows or the patch sticks, drop a size or fold it smaller.
