Do I need a booster to run a suppressor on a pistol?
On most tilting-barrel pistols, yes. A booster, also called a Nielsen device, lets the action cycle with the extra weight. Many fixed-barrel 22s do not need one.
Can I add a threaded barrel later?
For popular models, aftermarket threaded barrels are common. Buying one that ships threaded saves the cost and often adds taller sights.
