Do I need a suppressor to shoot 300 Blackout?
No. It shoots fine unsuppressed with supersonic ammo. Subsonic loads are mainly for shooting with a suppressor.
300 Blackout or 5.56 in a short barrel?
300 Blackout loses less from a short barrel and is the better pick for suppressed shooting. 5.56 is cheaper to shoot and flies flatter at distance.
