Is a snub nose hard to shoot?

The short barrel and light weight make recoil sharp and accuracy harder at distance. Regular practice, and a steel-frame or 3 inch model if you want it softer, make a big difference.

2 inch or 3 inch barrel?

A 2 inch hides more easily, especially in a pocket. A 3 inch adds a little velocity, a longer sight radius and often a full-length ejector rod for cleaner reloads.
