Pick a material
Most 308 barrels use 5/8x24 threads. Some use M18x1 or other pitches, so check yours before you choose a mount.
| Material | Weight | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Titanium | Lightest | Hunting rifles you carry all day. |
| Stainless steel | Heavier | Long range strings and a lower price. |
| Inconel and similar alloys | Varies | Short barrels and high round counts. |
Mounts, pistons and covers are in Suppressor Parts.

308 & 30 Cal Suppressors FAQ
Can one 30 cal can cover all my rifles?
Often. With the right ratings and mounts, one can can run 308, 6.5 and 5.56. It will be a little louder on the smaller calibers than a dedicated can.
Is every 30 cal can rated for magnums?
No. 300 Win Mag and 300 PRC ratings are listed on the product page. If it does not say magnum rated, do not assume it is.
Direct thread or quick detach on a hunting rifle?
Direct thread is lighter and simpler for one rifle. A quick detach mount makes more sense once the can moves between several.
Suppressor laws vary by state, and some states ban them outright. Check the rules where you live before you order. We cannot give legal advice. Questions go to gungearwarehousellc@gmail.com.
